Casa Ya’ax has recently finished renovation but still retains all of the feeling of an old colonial with its high ceilings, pasta tiled floors, antique wooden doors and beautiful archways, while also being fully updated with a modern touch for comfort and daily living.
This elegant, restored colonial home is situated in the heart of Centro and located perfectly in between Centenario Zoo and Parque Santiago which feature restaurants, shopping, a movie theater and local mercados for fresh fruits, vegetables, meats and more. Â Enjoy strolling through the shaded, tree covered paths of the zoo while taking in the animals all completely free.
The openness and spacious rooms are the first things that you will see when you open the doors, a visual feast from anyplace you look or sit, and leading on past the current TV area and its convenient, full kitchen to the master suite with en suite bathroom and direct access to the pool area outside.  Also off of the first kitchen is a set of double doors which can be locked off when rented by two couples or to keep out older kids to really relax.  Through these double doors you will find a short hallway leading to the two additional bedrooms which  both have access to a shared bathroom.  It also connects to the larger kitchen which features a large prep table and dining seating as well.  This kitchen opens to the street providing a second entry when treating the home as two separate residences. The rear features a wonderful filtered pool with cascading fountains surrounded by an informal lounging area.  Sitting in the pool is a favorite pastime in Centro for entertaining or just relaxing under the stars while enjoying cocktails in the evening.  It is the perfect place to entertain!  The area boasts its own complete bathroom, laundry room, bar and plenty of storage.  Casa Ya’ax features air conditioning and ceiling fans throughout and even has gated, off-street parking available.
