Although covered in tropical shade and fruit trees, this perfect retreat is only 7 years old.  The home is situated on the property from north to south to take full advantage of the natural sunlight while also benefiting from the prevailing winds of Yucatan.  

The entrance to the property is paved and there is covered space for four cars in the garage which has a local thatch roof.  Once inside the main entry, you will immediately notice the 4 meter high ceilings.  A spacious corridor leads to the living room and dining room.  The kitchen features granite countertops above cedar cabinets and drawers as well as an ample center island.  You will also find high end appliances and plenty of workspace.  Local hardwoods like zapote, siricote and cedar have been used throughout to make the custom doors, windows, cabinets and beams of the home.  A half bath serves the communal areas.  Each of the 3 bedrooms not only has its own ensuite bathroom with granite counters but also has a door leading to the pool.

The trees on the grounds consists of mature ramones, various fruits, palms, palm real and more, and the gardens of bougainvilleas, bamboo and other colorful and flowering tropical plants completely surround this sanctuary.  A dedicated well is used for irrigation and filling the enormous pool which measures 4m wide x 12m long x 2.20m deep.  The pool has its own terrace for relaxing around it or enjoying time with friends and family.  A large roofed area with stone walls and barspace serves as both a barbecue spot and bar.
